Information you choose to send

The quote form may collect your name, phone number, email address, how you would like to be contacted, where you are moving from and to, move timing, service type, approximate size, building or access information, and optional notes. The general contact form collects your name, email, optional phone number, and message.

The forms do not ask for exact street addresses, payment details, access codes, identification, health information, or a full inventory of valuables. Please do not place that information in an open text field.

Why the information is used

Dexa uses the details to respond to your request, ask any needed questions, confirm whether the requested service is available, and prepare a quote when it is able to help. Submitting the form does not book your move.

Dexa uses quote information to respond to your request. Separate consent is required for unrelated marketing.

Form delivery and service providers

The website sends form submissions to Formspree, the form-delivery provider used by Dexa. Formspree and the hosting provider may process technical information needed to operate and secure the website, subject to their own terms.

The website does not currently use third-party advertising pixels, session replay, embedded maps, or chat widgets. If analytics is added later, this notice will be updated. Dexa will not send contact details or move information to analytics services.

Google profile and review content

The home page may request Dexa's public rating and up to five review excerpts through the Google Places API when the page opens. Google returns up to five reviews ordered by relevance; the website shows only returned reviews rated 5 out of 5, excludes a review with a known professional conflict, and does not write or edit the text shown.

Google may provide the reviewer's public name, avatar, profile link, relative publication date, review text, rating, source link, and reporting link. The review response is requested for the current page view and is marked not to be stored by browsers or intermediaries. Dexa does not send quote-request or contact-form information to Google for this feature.

Use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms and the Google Privacy Policy.

Storage, access, and retention

Quote requests may be accessed by Dexa and the service providers needed to receive and respond to them. Dexa keeps quote and contact information as needed to respond to requests and maintain necessary records. To ask how long your information is kept or request deletion, email hello@dexamovers.ca.

The website does not create an account, save the form across devices, or provide a page for viewing past requests.

Your choices

You may ask Dexa about access to, correction of, or deletion of information connected to your request, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements. Contact hello@dexamovers.ca.

You can choose not to use the form and instead call 613-519-3236. Do not send sensitive information by email or voicemail.

Updates

Dexa may update this notice when its forms, service providers, or information practices change. The date at the top shows when the notice was last updated.
